Our adventure coaching trips help you get unstuck, off plateaus, fast-track your progression and back on your full stoke. We host these trips at destinations that provide the most optimal conditions for improvement, with a bit of off-the-beaten-track adventure thrown in to make it extra special. You get the exclusive opportunity to work simultaneously with an instructor, guide and coach. On our surf trips, this holistic approach focuses on wave reading, manoeuvres and tube riding in the water and preparation, recovery and support when you are out of the water, including improving your body, breath and movement for surfing. On snowboard trips, we focus on technique in variable conditions, avalanche safety, and how to split-board or jump, jib and do tricks. These tours are bucket list trips, where you get to immerse in your riding whilst staying at a private villa or cosy chalet with all the comforts you need. In addition, you will meet a like-minded crew of people who ride at a similar level whilst hanging with and learning from your coaches day and night. Before I started working with Mtnwave fitness, my recovery after surf sessions took much longer, I had low endurance, weak paddling, and a slow pop-up, as a result, I caught much less waves. The programs significantly influenced my athletic performance, athleticism, skills, confidence, and approach, and thanks to the training, I secured the seventh place in the national Ukrainian Surfing Championships.
Before I met Jon I used to be much less disciplined in my training between surf sessions and my surfing was less on point, now I have much better understanding and awareness of the physical requirements I need for my surfing. My training has a positive effect on all aspects of my athleticism and my lifestyle. I now have holistic approach and as a result my surfing has totally changed.
I had terrible shoulder pains when I returned to surfing after time out to start a family. Jon introduced me to foundation training that fix my posture and helped me get rid of my pain and get back on point with my surfing and snowboarding. I now also feel the benefits of being fitter and pain free in my everyday life too.
